  • We have two ongoing partnerships that help fund new materials for our classrooms. You can support La Coccinelle at any time through the following programs:

    • Mabel’s Labels: High-quality, durable labels for your child’s shoes, snack boxes, and gear. To ensure your purchase supports our school, visit Mabel’s Labels and search for "La Coccinelle Preschool (Calgary)" when prompted.

    • Scholastic Book Club: Help our school while you grow your library! You can order French and English books through the flyers sent home or by visiting Scholastic Canada. Please use our classroom code RC 163687 to ensure a portion of the proceeds returns to the preschool.

    • Buy a T-shirt!: Consider purchasing one of our great kid’s t-shirts for only $15

  • La Coccinelle is a parent-run, non-profit preschool. Our Board of Directors is essential to keeping the school operating, organized, and thriving for our children and community. We rely on the generosity, skills, and involvement of our parent volunteers to make this possible.

    We currently have the following Board positions available:

    • Chair (or Co-Chair)
    • Treasurer
    • Assistant Treasurer
    • Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

    Why join the Board?

    Board members play a vital role in shaping the preschool, supporting staff, overseeing operations, and ensuring the long term success of our non-profit organization.

    In recognition of the significant time and responsibility involved, families serving on the Board are exempt from the preschool’s other mandatory volunteer commitments.

    Standard family volunteer commitments typically include:

    • One toy wash (one evening or session per school year)
    • One rag wash
    • Participation in our casino fundraiser (typically every second year)
