For our June fundraiser, we partnered up with Canadian cleaning company, Tru Earth. They are well known for their laundry strips- ultra concentrated, hypo-allergenic, cleaning powder into a pre-measured strip that you just toss in the wash. It makes your laundry washing chore easier and kinder to our planet by reducing single-use plastics. Tru Earth Eco-Strips are vegan-friendly and paraben-free and are gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.
For every $25 of Tru Earth products purchased through our fundraiser, Tru Earth will provide laundry detergent for 1 person for an entire month. We believe clean clothes is a human right.

Our 3 years old class went on a field trip to Calgary Fire Station 10 (Briar Hall) 1909 16 Avenue NW. Our students learned about fire safety and how firefighters respond to house fires quickly and effectively. They learned that in case of a fire we must obey our firefighter friends. The students observed the firefighter suit and fire truck keenly.
